How to Land a Job in a Cruise Ship

Cruising is slowly beginning to gain popularity nowadays with plenty of Filipinos finding ways to save money and enjoy all the fruits of their labor on a week tour. But did you know that there is an easier way to enjoy a cruise ship ride than paying a sum of money for a week ride? In case you do not know, you can try to apply for a job in a cruise ship.

Would you imagine that you are in a big luxury ship which heads to different parts of the world, enjoying every minute with your colleagues/co-workers while getting paid on your trip? Yes, it would be very exciting but it still depends on the type of job that you have.

Although there are many jobs out there, it will still require those job seekers to be active and search well on the latest job openings in the cruise ship business. But still be careful on some of the agencies that ask for money for a faster processing fee but will later on disappear when they already have the cash on hand.

If you want to land a job in the Cruise Ship business, follow these steps:

1. Know your strengths and capabilities

If you are still planning or still don’t know what job to take, you should first assess your skill or your strengths. In that way, you can think and decide better. It will also help you to land a job you love.

2. Pass your resume on the appropriate sector.

Passing your application on the right company department would mean faster processing of your documents. In this way, if you are a waiter, you should address your application to the head of all the waiters and waitresses on the ship.

3. Find a job related to your previous experiences.

For every employee who seeks a job, it is really important that you’ll be able to get the one that fits you most. Having the right experience will be very beneficial to both you and the company because if you are experienced enough it means that you are ready for the job and will need less supervision from the higher ups. It will also save the company time in training you. With all of these, you will get higher chances of landing your desired job.

Hope this tips helps you. May all your dreams come true!
